ইউপিএস থেকে বাড়তি সুবিধা

আপনি চাইলে ইউপিএসের কাছ থেকে সুবিধা নিতে পারেন। সাধারণত বিদ্যুত্ চলে গেলে একটি ইউপিএস ১৫ থেকে ২০ মিনিট বিদ্যুত্ সরবরাহ করতে পারে। কিন্তু কোনো কাজ যদি এ সময়ের মধ্যে আপনি শেষ বা সেভ করতে না পারেন, তবে এ ক্ষেত্রে উইন্ডোজ অপারেটিং সিস্টেমের হাইবারনেট সুবিধা আপনাকে বাঁচাবে। কম্পিউটারকে ঘুম পাড়াবে, মানে হাইবারনেট করতে প্রথমে ডেস্কটপে মাউসের ডান ক্লিক করে Properties-এ যেতে হবে। সেখান থেকে Screen saver select করে Power-এ ক্লিক করতে হবে। তারপর Hibernate select করে Enable Hibernatc-এ টিক চিহ্ন দিয়ে OK করতে হবে। আবার Power বাটনে ক্লিক করে Advanced Select করতে হবে। এখন When ও press the sleep button-এ Hibernate select করে OK করতে হবে। যাদের কিবোর্ডে স্লিপ বোতাম নেই, তারা When ও press the power button-এ Hibernabe select (নির্বাচন) করতে হবে।
এখন হঠাত্ যদি কারেন্ট চলে যায়, তবে Sleep চাপতে হবে (যদি কারও কিবোর্ডে এ বোতামটি না থাকে, তাদের কম্পিউটারের Power বোতামটি চাপতে হবে।
একটু লক্ষ করলে দেখতে পারবেন, কম্পিউটার হাইবারনেটে চলে গেছে। এমন অবস্থায় কম বিদ্যুত্ খরচে কম্পিউটার চালু থাকে। হাইবারনেটের বেশি সময় কম্পিউটার সচল রাখতে চাইলে মনিটর বন্ধ করে রাখতে হবে। বিদ্যুত্ চলে এলে কম্পিউটার চালু করতে হবে।

Installing the Drivers and Modem.
---------------------------------
1. Open the folder C2900i.
2. Double click on Driver Install.
3. Click on Install.
4. When Installation completed Click on Close.
5. Now, Switch on the Mobile.
6. Connect the Data Cable to Mobile than connect it to the Computer or Laptop.
7. The mobile will Restart automatically and Found new hardware screen will appear.
(If the mobile does not restart Switch it off, Switch it on and connect the data cable to the PC)
8. Select Install the software automatically (Rcommended) and click on Next.
9. When Completing the Found new hardware wizard screen will appear click on Finish.
10. No. 8 and 9 Process will happen for three times.
11. Now, Go to Start > Setting > Control Panel.
12. Click on switch to classic view (if needed).
13. Double Click "Phone and Modem Options".
14. If location information is needed select "India" in Country/region box, type "00"(Double zero) in Area Code, Select "Tone dialing" and click "OK".
15. Now, Click "Modems" tab.
16. Now select the "HUAWEI Mobile Connect - 3G Modem" and click "Properties".
17. Select the "Advanced" tab.
18. Type "AT+CRM=1" in extra initialization commands.
19. Click "OK".
17. Again Click "OK" to go to Control Panel.

Setup the Dial up connection.

1. Go to Start > Setting > Control Panel.
2. Click on switch to classic view (if needed).
3. Double Click on Network Connections.
4. click on file > New connections.
5. click on Next.
6. Select Connect to the internet and click on Next.
7. Select Set up my connection manually and click on Next.
8. Select connect using a dial-up modem and click on Next.
9. Select HUAWEI Mobile Connect - 3G Modem from the list and click on Next.
Note:- No. 9 screen will appear only if more than one Modem is connected.
10. Type the connection name as Tata and click on Next.
11. Type the Phone number as #777 and click on Next.
12. Type the user name, password and confirm password as internet and click on Next.
Note:- User name, password and confirm password typed in small letters only.
13. Select the check box Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop and click on Finish.
14. Click on Dial to connect to internet.
15. Once connected Tata is now connected notification appears.
16. Now, Open Internet Explorer and start browsing internet.

Requirements:

All Bluetooth solutions are supported! Native support for the Microsoft and Widcomm/Broadcom stacks. Toshiba, IVT/Bluesoile and others are supported via COM port access.

Window 98/2000, XP and Vista with the .NET framework 2.0 or higher installed. This framework is a recommended update from Microsoft and is included in Vista. If the installation program fails to detect support for the framework it will be downloaded and installed with BRC during the installation process. If this fails please download the framework here!

BRC client on Phone

BRC supports all Bluetooth enabled phones supporting JAVA MIDP2.0 and JAVA JSR-82.

Most of today phones support MIDP2.0 but not all of them have the Bluetooth support specified in JSR-82. Support for JSR-82 is however
increasing very fast! BRC supports all Bluetooth enabled mobile phones from Nokia, SonyEricsson and Motorola as well as many other phone brands.

Settings:
*Display desktop in mouse controller
*Show PC desktop on the phone when controlling the mouse.
Showing the desktop can cause some phone's to crash or hang due to the increasing data traffic.To minimize this risk make sure that the traffic is as small as possible and elaborat on:
1. Enable the stability option
2. Set a low desktop size on phone
3. Try to use gray colors with as few colors as possible

This is also to minimize the respond time and improve the user experience.

Authenticate Bluetooth
Prevent access to the PC with Bluetooth Remote Control. A remote phone is required to enter a pin code before connecting and getting access to the computer. After a successful connect using pin code, the remote device is authenticated and can connect without pin code. Only available with the direct connect method!

1) Click Start, Run and enter GPEDIT.MSC

2) Go to Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, System.

3) Locate the entry for Turn autoplay off and modify it as you desire.

Hide Drives Partitions C:,D:,E:

This is a great trick you can play on your friends. To disable the display
of local or networked drives when you click My Computer.
1.Go to start->run.Type regedit.Now go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer
Now in the right pane create a new DWORD item and name it NoDrives(itis case sensitive). Now modify it's value and set it to 3FFFFFF
(Hexadecimal) .Now restart your computer. So, now when you click on
My Computer, no drives will be shown(all gone...). To enable display of
drives in My Computer, simply delete this DWORD item that you created.
Again restart your computer.You can now see all the drives again.

2. Save the file with the .reg extension.
3. If you run the file means it will ask you the confirmation to add the value to your Registry.
4. Press Yes.
5. Reboot your System.
6. Start Downloading from Microsoft Site.

Use system restore when you cannot boot your system:

If your system has failed to the point where you cannot access the
Windows GUI either through booting normally or through safe mode, you
may still have the chance to use the System Restore feature if you have
it enabled, by running it form the command prompt. To do this:
Restart your computer and press F8 after the POST screen to bring up
the Windows XP boot menu. Choose 'boot in safe mode with command
prompt.'
If your system gets to the command prompt successfully, type'%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe' and then press enter. Followthe
onscreen instructions to restore your computer to a previous saved point.
